The average asking price for homes for sale in Colonialtown in June 2010 was $284,000. The average price for homes that sold was $189,000! There was an average price per square foot of $122.

We are faring better in our neighborhood compared to Central and Southern Orlando (zip codes 32801-32809, 32812, 32827, 32839). For that larger area the average asking price in June 2010 was $287,000, the average sold price was $151,000 and the average price per square foot was $98.

We've got a sweet new neighbor! Blue Bird Bake Shop has opened at 3122 Corrinne Dr. Their grand opening is not until this Saturday, but they are having super secret soft openings this week. They've got some delicious cupcakes, brownies, cookies, scones and more. Happy snacking!

Homes for Sale, Pending, Sold

In Colonialtown (32803) in June 2010, there were 260 homes for sale, 46 homes pending and 24 homes sold. In June 2009, there were 247 homes for sale, 25 homes pending and 18 homes sold. As you can see, pending sales and homes sold increased slightly. But there is still a significant inventory of homes for sale. If no more homes were to enter the market, it would take 11 months for the current inventory to be sold off.
